This looks to be exceeding the “double the number of cases every 30 days” model for a severe pandemic.
I had marked 6k cases by October as a tracking measure.
But this is f*’d...
The solution is OBVIOUSLY to send 3000 Americans.

In 2009, I flew from Cape Town to Atlanta and on that flight, the plane lands in Dakar, Senegal to re-fuel before crossing the Atlantic Ocean. When the plane is sitting there on the Tarmac, Senegal guards come on the plane and search the entire cabin top to bottom, while the passengers stand up to give them room. If they are still doing that on those flights, an infected Senegal guard or guards could infect a whole plane full of people on their way to Atlanta.
And our soldiers are supposed to do what exactly?
They are untrained, they are not medics and they will surely die...some of them... because of the above. I might could have some understanding if the medical corps were being mobilized...

What I want to know is where are the socialized medicine countries with their supposed superior health systems and outcomes: where is the big commitment from Britain, Italy, France or Sweden...I don’t mean a few dr.s or aid workers...where is the huge mobilization of THEIR systems to respond...they are a lot closer to A-freak-a than we are....
I am wondering if this is an engineered disease and we have the antidote.
This “thing” may have gotten out of a lab, and is out of control, that is why we must have our Army help contain it.
I don’t know what to believe these days.
Sending our Army into a hot disease zone is insanity, yet no one in DC gives a damn.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

We already have the Open Boarder Flu hitting kids in many states where, ironically, kids from the border invasion were dumped.
Cases are doubling every 3 weeks so by Oct. 10, there should be 10,000 cases. BTW, this works out to over 1500 cases per week but the next cycle from Oct. 10 to beginning of November would be over 3000 cases per week to 20,000 total cases.
