Crime in Baltimore is dropping like a pile of hot rocks. And Elliott Einbinder knows the reason why: It is hard to get arrested there.
Einbinder is a Jewish dentist who was attacked last week on his way to afternoon prayers near his office -- all in front of witnesses willing to tell police what they saw. Let’s pick up the story from Baltimore Jewish Life:
“One 24-year-old African American female followed him and sucker punched him on the side of his head, swelling his lip and breaking his glasses. She continued to throw punches as Dr. Einbinder tried to swat her away.”
"I thought this was a 15-year old boy. She was half my size and just didn't appear to be a female. I kept asking her why she was doing this to me; I said, 'I didn't anything to you'! She spat on me and according to one witness, she said, "C'mon, fight me Jew.”
“The attacker originally told police that the doctor began the altercation but when witnesses contradicted her story she admitted to the police that she was "just having a bad day."
“He is also upset at the way the laws are written in that the officers on the scene were unable to arrest her even with the tens of witnesses to this attack on hand. Apparently an attack of this sort is considered a 2nd Degree Assault and unless witnessed by a Police Officer, and/or unless any type of weapon is used an arrest cannot be made.”
More than 20 witnesses. A crime scene confession. A shaken victim, willing to press charges. And what happened?

This is Maryland. You don’t get much more liberal then Maryland. They will do whatever they can to lessen the actual crime rates..

What you’re posting applies to any situation imaginable where self-defense might become necessary. All those technicalities do not mean that a man must cede his right to self-defense if he is being attacked by a woman.

The are not ‘technicalities’. Your previous statement (reposted below) clearly shows that you misunderstand the law.

Seeing how she hit him twice, it does make her eligible to chow down on some lead.
The ‘bad’ part of defending oneself in the knockout game is it is one punch and run - under what ‘they’ say, once the attacker is leaving it is ‘illegal’ for you to chase him and shoot him in the street - although it is definitely deserved.
That was the 2nd claim in Ferguson..when the ‘He was standing with his hands up didn’t ‘work’’ they tried ‘he shot him in the back while he was trying to leave’.
However, when it comes to a ‘felony’ (assault on a police officer) I don’t think they are held to the same ‘legal’ ruling of chasing and/or shooting him while he is departing.
If the guy pulled a gun and shot her, you bet your ass someone would have been arrested.

This is nothing new. Maryland’s corrupticrats have been misleading the public for decades. Crime rates are SO high in Baltimore and PG county alone, those counties routinely delay reporting to the FBI via UCR before elections to push the numbers down. “Look how safe our neighborhoods are under democrat rule, citizens, don’t trust those evil conservatives.” Maryland is regularly rated #1 in violent crime nationally. If you take out those two counties we’re like #13. So it’s only a logical extension to stop reporting crime altogether. Yeah, it’s bad here. I’m not a politician, a lawyer, or otherwise politically connected so I can’t carry concealed.
If a man is being attacked and repeatedly punched by a woman, yes, he can punch back with enough force to end her assault.
The case in this article is not domestic violence, but an unprovoked attack with a woman punching a man. The dentist might have thought she was so small and such an ineffective puncher, that it didn't require much force in return, but that's just one case.
And, as I said before, you are posting, for whatever reason, a lot of irrelevant detail to a statement that simply says a man does not cede his right to self-defense when being attacked by a woman. He can use whatever force is necessary to overcome the assault.
Most ordinary citizens are in no position to instantly judge, assess the severity of a threat and react accordingly.

Mayors don’t like high crime rates - crime keeps businesses away....
Mayors can deal with crime or request their police departments to look the other way... Since blacks commit a disproportionate amount of crime, it’s easy to squelch complaints by calling honest citizens racist.
Problem solved.
Mayor looks good. Police look like they’re dealing with crime. Criminals get a free ride. Liberal elites in safe high rise condos are safe and superior... and ordinary citizens live in fear.
