You are correct in theory but would you want your son to go hunt and kill Isis underbObama ROE? We should not be the worlds policemen but unfortunately we will have to be the worlds exterminator’s. I do not understand these bleeding heart people that put themselves in these positions in the first place. I am not going to say they deserve it but dang sometimes you have to have some common sense about yourself.
I don’t agree. There would be the same outcome no matter when we leave ... same thing is going to happen in Afghanistan.

Because 100 years from now it will be NO DIFFERENT.
It has been like this in Islamic countries (and the countries and other cultures they interact with) for over 600 years. We are not going to change behavior in these places no matter how long we stay.
So OK we can say we should have stayed a bit longer ... but I truly do not believe that it would have made one bit of difference.
Tell you what ... Why don’t we poll military who have served in these regions (not the top brass) and see what they think? I would be willing to bet that the vast majority agree with me. I know many personally who say the same thing.
