Same as importing the "kids" from Central America. It's "not fair" that the US doesn't have polio, or ebola, or the myriad diseases the "third world" suffers from. Obama is all about the "equal sharing" of misery.

About 21 hours on a dry surface, IIRC—longer if at very low temperature or in goo, much longer in animals. But most populated cities would not likely be completely deserted, including sparsely populated towns.
