The pictures of this little boy are heartbreaking. I was on the receiving end of a switch more than once, but my mom never left open wounds. Peterson needs horse whipped.

and that was almost a week later. That wasn't punishment for wrongdoing, that's abuse. It looks like it became so bad that the kid probably forgot even what he did wrong, if anything. I'm posting this because I'm sick and tired of listening to some claim that this isn't abuse because their parents did worse. Even in the 50’s this would be abuse but the difference is parents weren't called out.
