It all changes when it's your ox being gored. And that is why people that don't have skin in the game always vote as they do. Maybe people who don't pay taxes or serve in the military should not be allowed to vote.

Costco also invests a lot of effort into "green washing"; the PR art of convincing (deceiving) the public they are heavily involved in saving the planet.
