Scotland was independent before, so what of anyone that may have said then, “Well, once you join the UK, it is forever!”?
I had the same thought - what drama and emotionalism. As if the UK wouldn’t be trying to get Scotland back in, long, long after, should they go. We fought two wars of independence because this same people didn’t accept two decades of our going our own way. And we were separated by the Atlantic Ocean as well. I can’t see how this does much except help the Yes campaign.
