Kentucky Democrat Senate Candidate Distances Herself From Obama in New Ad

Katie and I have written previously about the curious case of Alison Lundergan Grimes, who has the unenviable position of running for Senate as a Democrat in what is a pretty thoroughly red state. In an effort to further distance herself from President Obama, Grimes released a new ad today explicitly stating that she is "not Barack Obama" and that she disagrees with him on "guns, coal, and the EPA."

She can run as far away from Obama as she wants but there is no doubt that she will vote as Harry Reid tells her to vote.

Is she going to create ads saying she would never vote democrat?

My guess is she supported him in the last two elections.

It isn’t going to work.

She’s a far Left activist and everyone in KY knows it.

” and that she disagrees with him on “guns, coal, and the EPA.”

So?

When he orders your butt to fall in line, you aren’t going to disagree.

Blah blah blah. Then, if elected, first thing she’ll do is kiss Obama’s bare @$$

“I am not Barack Obama”

Get her under oath and ask her who she voted for in 2008 and 2012.

Once upon a time, I would vote for someone with a D after their name if I felt they were the better candidate. But once I saw how they behaved when they got into office and associated with the "leadership", I said never again.

It is bad enough to elect conservatives who turn into RINOs.

Recall that once upon a time, Harry Reid was considered one of the more conservative Democrats who would vote with conservatives up to 40% of the time. That's not the type of monster whom you want to help create.

Yeah, I realize the RINO incumbent is only a small improvement.

This would make a great ad. Take out the not from her phrase and it would be I am Barack Obama.. Then show all of her votes that support Barack Obama.

She can run as far away from Obama as she wants but there is no doubt that she will vote as Harry Reid tells her to vote.

As opposed to McConnell who will, via subterfuge and stealth behind-the-scenes, orchestrate what Reid wants, and when the votes are in to go Reid's way - he will vote against what he worked in secret to enable.

Then he beats his chest and runs ads trying to convince us that he has 'stopped Obama's War on Coal', having done nothing but pay lip service to reining in the EPA while his wife sits on a board of a lobbying group that is working to eliminate coal as an energy source altogether.

Notice the Turtle is silent on ObamaCare now, as he once vowed to eliminate it 'root and branch' after working behind the scenes to make sure it remains 'the law'. He don't talk about it now.

Grimes may be an Obama Stooge Leftist - but at least we know who and what she is. We do not have to worry about her turning on us and sabotaging the base. In fact, despite who and what she is, I do not recall her declaring war on Conservatism and vowing to 'crush them wherever we find them'.

That would be McConnell who vowed that. Given his assistance to the corruption to get Cochran in MS elected, he made good on his promise to destroy any Conservatives running for office in the GOP.

She had ample time to force Obama to resign during his six years of destroying the USA,,,,she did nothing at all...but kissed Obama’s butt!!! If anyone (voter) in the state of Kentucky believes otherwise and votes for her....they are only screwing thenselves......Grimes is naught, but an Obama “Pajama Girl”!!!

"not Barack Obama" and that she disagrees with him on "guns, coal, and the EPA."

So, that leaves agreement w Mister Obama on the IRS, NSA, the border and amnesty for illegal aliens, obamacare, the debt, millions more on welfare, isis (and in general, all terrorists), and lots, lots more of areas of agreement (including a Marine in a Mexican jail for wayyy too long.

(BTW, I'm an extremely reluctant McConnel supporter. I don't care for him, but that's a score to settle during primaries, not general elections where the Senate majority margin will be paper thin)

In running this ad she is actually drawing attention front and center back to this subject - which has been her weakness and McConnell’s strength. That’s not exactly the best of moves.
