The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, warning hospitals and doctors that “now is the time to prepare,” has issued a six-page Ebola “checklist” to help healthcare workers quickly determine if patients are infected.
While the CDC does not believe that there are new cases of Ebola in the United States, the assumption in the checklist is that it is only a matter of time before the virus hits home.

[ I don’t know the numbers on women, but I’d say close to 50% of men don’t even wash their hands before exiting a restroom.
It’s rather disgusting. If I shake hands with anyone, I almost immediately want to wash my hands. ]
More women than you think use the restroom without washing their hands....
There is nothing more disconcerting than sitting in the stall doing your business and hearing someone leave the stall and walking directly OUT of the restroom without making a trip to the sink first...
Makes me shudder everytime.... I am a little bit of OCD about handwashing after using the restroom, which is not a bad OCD to have.

And you can count on the Gov’t to hide the details of where cases turn up. That’s the really damnable thing about this. It’ll be in your town or city for weeks before you ever hear about it. And it could run rampant through the schools!
Open borders will be largely to blame if we lose our lives.
Because they need a good reason to declare martial law, suspend elections, etc...why not Ebola?

Unfortunately it’s not like the GOPe has a different policy. The GOP-establishment is firmly in the No Borders camp. Elect a Jed Bush or a Romney or one of their clones and it will be no different.
Our borders weren’t tightened after 9-11. Instead Dubya tried to ram amnesty through.
So if we have Ebola break out here in the USA due to our sieve like immigration policy I doubt that anything will change other than our death toll.
I am more afraid of the sink areas in public restrooms than most. I won’t touch anything in there, not counters, taps, towel dispensers, etc.
I use sanitary wipes on my hands, and won’t even touch the door going in, or going out.
So, I might be one of those OCD types who won’t wash her hands - try using the wipes or gels, a much safer option in my opinion.
I don’t even trust elevator buttons, shopping cart handles, or the handrails on stairs. My adult children laugh when they see me using my elbows to maneuver in public places.
But, I rarely get sick.
