Guy.. this is really simple.. it just the way computers work... smaller simpler program call bigger programs.

how do you think you would install the new os even in the factory?.. the phone has to have the basic smarts TO talk to in the first place to install a os..

Ive been working in computer and networks since 1980.. my first machine was a pdp 8 that i had to hand load a bootstrap loader to just talk to a disk to load an os

We hand loaded the bootstrap to have that called some tape loaders that installed the main programs onto Huge disks.

Very state of the art at the time LOL
