It’s Cuttar...or something similar...qatar is not pronouncable.

In English, a “Q” is always followed by a “U”. Even if one were there (quatar) it would still sound like “quarter” without the “R”.

I’m sure the Arabs spell it just fine in their script, but “qatar” is a liberal word, not an English word.
