It comes just hours after his family issued a public plea for his captors to contact them. The Foreign Office said it was "working urgently to verify" the video and offering Mr Haines's family support. David Cameron, the Prime Minister, said: "The murder of David Haines is an act of pure evil. My heart goes out to his family who have shown extraordinary courage and fortitude." He added: "We will do everything in our power to hunt down these murderers and ensure they face justice, however long it takes."

Is TV covering this much?
Another savage beheading? Time to draw a line in the sand: The line between sand and glass.
They are all horrible events, don’t get me wrong. I would never get over it, if this happened to my son or my brother. But these ‘events’ have taken on the look of summer reruns. I suspect they will change the catagory of victim pretty soon to a woman or minority. Some commenters suspect that all the executions we have seen, and upcoming ones as yet unseen, were all done months if not years ago. The ‘events’ are being slowly leaked out for propaganda purposes.
Last note, keep in mind, this happened on a weekend, the weekend after 911. So this particular weekend, most Americans are breathing a deep sigh of relief that we made it through another 911 w/o being attacked by muslim terrorists. These same people have largely tuned out the news until monday morning.

Britain needs to set up a guillotine and for every British captive the ISIS executes , they should march out and give similar measure to 20 .

Not exactly tuned out but having been breathing sighs of relief till heard of beheading video yesterday. Wonder if any Russians are being held?
Where is Obama’s call for a war crimes tribunal? He listed all the crimes in his last speech. Or was that just ear candy for his base? Maybe he doesn’t want to risk his peace prize.

Not all of us have TV here and we don’t know how the TV media is treating it, since most of the public picks up their feelings from TV, I was curious what treatment the TV media was giving this.
Has McCain ever been forced to explain this after we now know they were directly funding ISIS and ISIS were the ones using the chemical weapons not Assad’s military.
That was my long winded way of saying ‘no, not yet’.

Actually evil is the closest word to describe them but even that falls far short.

Any info if Russians are being held by isis? Have started searching. Russians too are in Syria.
That being said, I find it difficult to imagine why anyone would comply with these animals by stating anything other than vitriol for them and there goat screwing ‘profit’ Mohammad. If death be the reward either way, why allow them a propaganda victory? A few Hail Mary's and Our Father interlaced with insults to the child rapist animal abuser Mohammad would make his death unusable to them.
They need to be showing more of it not less.
