It's out in the open now, if he continues to help the rebels in Syria it will be obvious he is helping the enemy. (Not that we didn't already know that)

I guess his meme will now be, Oh we need to help ISIS get Assad out of power.

Assad is his own worst enemy, he helped create and build up ISIS/ISIL and now they are coming for him.
