There are different ways of taking control.
Maybe you don’t spend enough time in courtrooms.
If judges acted like those morons, all excitable and like they just took their steroids, like the cops in this video do, they would be a laughingstock.
You act calm, serious, not like a bunch of teenaged agers fighting with their moms.
The courtroom is not even remotely akin to a street scene.
There is an established protocol and those who act without decorum are summarily admonished, chastised and threatened with sanction or incarceration. It is already established through history and common knowledge that the fact finder is in control of his/her courtroom and woe to those who forget.
The judge also has the benefit of deliberation and hindsight; the officers on scene do not.
You have never spent one day in that type of street scene, so I will keep my own counsel on what is appropriate, having the benefit of real world experience.
