I'd give just about anything if I could go and live back there again...my wife has other ideas..;-)
I miss Moose Pass and the Kenai SOOOO much!
Just as I miss North Idaho and Montana (I also worked for the NPS at Yellowstone) but there’s no way on God’s green Earth that my girlfriend would ever live in a northern clime again, she was born and raised in B’klyn and never wants to have to shovel snow again.
I, on the other hand, loved the winters...watching the Northern Lights or ice skating across Lake Cd’A half a mile from the shore, hoping I didn’t run into the mail boat’s channel through the ice!
Everyone should spend a few years in Alaska, it’s truly America’s greatest state!
