NO JOBS! NO MONEY! NO DISPOSABLE INCOME!...............
Took my grandson to see a movie in April for his birthday. Two twilight tickets, one box of popcorn and one drink to share - $40. And what did he have when it was over? An empty popcorn box and a ticket stub for a marginal movie.
Told him we’d stay home next time, rent a movie that we would both enjoy without having to sit through all the commercials and have all the popcorn and soda he wanted plus invite friends over to join us - all for about $10.
Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner! It's hard to shell out for $20 3D tickets if you're living in a stagnant economy.
No acting, no writing, no captivating plot lines. Just a whole bunch of CGI. Yawn. Saving my money.
