Not at all! Their product SUCKS! Add to that the bad attitude and entitlement mentality of so many of the ‘stars’ and you get a really bad year at the old box office. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of hypocrites.

Of the movies mentioned, I saw the Xmen II flick.

It wasn't a great flick, but it was amusing. Paid $2 to go see it (me and Mrs WBill: "For a change tonite, let's go see a movie! What's playing?") at the dollar theater. We got our money's worth. Two bucks for an evening's entertainment of medium quality is a fair deal.

If I had paid $22, though, (or more!) I think I'd have a different opinion.

Never mind the rest of the movies listed. To me, they all looked "Bad" and "Worse".

In a world as out-of-control and violent as ours has become, people don't want going to a movie as violent as the evening news. There were very few feel-good movies this summer, the kind of movies which make you feel better about humanity and life.

Besides that, movie goers are quite sophisticated about quality. If a movie isn't up to standards, word gets out pretty quickly.
