Nearly fifty senior commanders of a major coalition of Islamic 'moderates' opposed to ISIS in Syria have been killed by an explosion at their secret command bunker as they met to discuss strategy against the the Islamic State.
The blast in the Northwest region of Idlib, Syria on Tuesday killed senior members of rebel group the Ahrar-al-Sham brigade (AaS), including leader Hassan Abboud and 45 others including senior members from other rebel alliance groups, reports The Times. The Idlib region stands in AaS territory, but it is close to the front-line with ISIS in neighbouring Aleppo.

We shouldn't be arming ANYONE except our own military. And that includes don't use mercenaries. There's no way to do that without our continued support going to ISIS.
Is the US going to blame Assad? Or is Obama going to be over ruled, and we work to support Assad, since only a strong ruler can stop ISIS from getting to the Med? I just hope someone stops this insanity of US policy enabling ISIS in the Mideast and Nazis in Kiev.

I love that Dan Simmons’ piece. After talking with a friend about what those three words might be, I think she came up with the best answer I’ve heard. The three words are: “Kill them all”
It is interesting to note (and Dog may remember) that we had a thread discussing that assassination which was performed by Osama Bin Laden forces a couple of days before 9/11 and noting that the Taliban had named Bin Laden Minister of Defense, Plenipotentiary apparently for services rendered.
That appointment by the Taliban government gave full reason to consider the Taliban government responsible for all acts associated with harboring Bin Laden -- he was acting as their agent.
After Massoud was killed we said momentous events were unfolding there and we were only just seeing the hint of what was to happen in the next couple of days.
