While most of us type on our keyboards pretending to be concerned with regards to the calamity on the border, these people are at least down there making the situation on the ground very very visable.

I commend them for placing themselves on the line to help out the rest of us.

Now, what was I saying about that Necessity Defense?

Two libtard freaks can block a coal freighter with a lobster boat and the DA dismisses the charges because he agrees that acting against global warming is a necessity.

I’m confident the militia will not get the same treatment.

I don’t really know how I feel about blocking a POE. I haven’t given it much thought yet. But drastic times do call for drastic measures.

Definitely not something you can just get permission or a permit for.

Not unlike the river, there are treaties in place governing the use of such. Hard target to just up and shut down.

Barring, you know.. like natural disasters and such.

Buckeye’s description is dead on right...

The examples of this disparity of perception, and how it is presented to the public determines a hell of a lot when it comes to “statements” like this...

Now...Does anyone really care, or really know, how this actually will be portrayed in the media??? Not many would say “yes”, and not for the reasons anyone might think...IMO...

I’m just concerned, not deterred, just concerned that this is not going to bode well for the cause...

The analogy would be that history will record this in some accounts as a brave action like storming a hill topped with machine guns, and that those who made the assault were brave, principled and righteous in their cause...It might be nice to have eliminated as many of the machineguns as possible before the assault...

But in this case, obviously we do not have that luxury...So, I still believe this is a good effort, I am just not convinced this will garner ANY positive results...

I do not believe it will be allowed to...that is just my position...

If I was able to be there, I would, and I would be the “Damn the torpedos, full speed ahead!!!” guy...

Hell maybe this will work, I can be a little more optimistic, but...ya know...ehhhhhhhh, who really will till the day comes...

Buckeye knows how I feel about all this anyway...

Being as only 2 sentences were posted for an excerpt, here is a little more form the bottom of the article, which won't go over the 1/2 rule:
[Rio Grande City Mayor] Villarreal said he is concerned about possible violence.

"I know that the state of Texas provides for them to be able to display their firearms," he said.

"I'm not going to lie to you; it's going to make us nervous. We're not used to seeing firearms being openly displayed," he said.

Villarreal said even though they're not familiar with the militia, they plan to be prepared.

It seems that a Mayor of a city any near the border should be a bit more learned.

But the less "familiar" they are with the militia, the more it is possible that they (mayor and crew) will do something stupid.

Yep, that’s why I believe this will happen anyway, I wish them all the luck, be safe, because they will not like the reaction by our government in this case...

And all the folks south that are benefitting from this lack of border enforcement...

All they have to do is sit back and keep on chugging along...I bet their crossings do not waiver for one second...

In the meantime the Border Patrol has other things to do...

The border is no longer a border in the conventional sense, that is a foregone conclusion...It is at best a poorly run and documented administrative speedbump that has so many spike strips pointed in our direction, rather than the other, being used against its own citizens...

So the solution is??? (Wait for it...)

His real reason to be nervous...those he is partnered with.

Once you tie in with those types, it’s blood in blood out.
