we need to go after them with FAE’s , white phosphorus , napalm and cluster bombs . All the stuff that makes the world aghast . Short of nukes , we need to give them the Hell they deserve . In large measure . Every town they hold should be leveled . That is the message we need to send . No quarter and no prisoners .

If we are not committed to destroying the enemy then we will only succeed in making them stronger.

Obama is not even willing to call this operation a “war”. He has no plan for Victory. He is not even willing to identify the Enemy by name “Islamic....”

This is a lost cause from the get go.

What if Obama gave a war and nobody came?

It will destroy ISIS. The means of its destruction won’t be pretty, but it will happen. If we had allowed the Northern Alliance to finish off the Taliban, we would have saved thousands of American lives. They would have massacred hundreds of thousands of Pashtuns, and driven millions into Pakistan, but that would have solved the Taliban problem. No Pashtuns in Afghanistan, no Afghan Taliban.

This supposed strike will give great cover for ISIS/ISIL. That is the stage being set.

Did you know that we dropped more bomb tonnage on our enemy in Vietnam than we did in WWII? And we lost. Because war from the air is just part of the way to victory.

The way I see it now: There is no God but Allah, and Obama is his prophet. We are in an historical train wreck. My deepest religious belief is that only the one true God can help us now.

Without arguing in detail, I submit that a few atomic explosions in random American cities could easily bring us to our knees and into submission to sharia.

If that happened, Mecca would be nuked in response. If the administration refused, there would be riots until it was done, and nothing would hold the American people back. It would seriously be a bridge too far - people would snap. Liberalism would die once and for all, no doubt with a lot of liberals going down with it, and no doubt in a very ugly way, but it would happen.

But that's already been analyzed - and it's the ONLY reason you haven't seen any nukes going off here.

I am not convinced that, for all of O’s talk about degrading them, he has any intention of it. They are doing what they are supposed to do, they are just creating a PR problem in the process that has to be addressed.

His response will be some pin-pricks to re-direct them. That, and arm more rebels who are not substantially different than ISIS. I don’t think their caliphate bothers him as long as they do it without creating PR problems for him.

O is not operating on the same wavelength as the rest of us. He and we are not on the same side. But he can’t declare himself, so he walks a tightrope and speaks in language that can be understood three different ways by three different audiences. And he takes actions meant to muddy the water rather than clarify it.

I am sad to say that this is my view. I hope someone can convince me I’m wrong.

forget isis a second.

nuke mecca.

it will have a massive demoralizing impact on all of these jihad jawas.

they will have to recognize that allah allowed their most holy site to be completely and utterly destroyed, by infidels, no less. allah is respinsible for all good and bad, it is his will. let them contemplate that while watching the crater mecca smoking up to heaven.

The Saudi financed and directed the attacks of 9/11 2001. They placed an operative in the White House, an illegal alien Muslim terrorist. The Republican Party is fully on board with this treason.

Anyone who “analyzes” the thinking of “Obama” without recognizing these facts is in a coma.

You lost me on your first sentence when you erroneously referred to Iraq as “the wrong war,” apparently presuming that we would accept that as fact.

In truth, Iraq was not a “wrong war, “ but rather an unfinished war that did not just conveniently disappear when political and public will was proven too soft for a hard task. We closed our eyes, and found to our dismay, when tumult again demanded our attention, that willful blindness leads to a catastrophic mess.

You don’t become strong because you beg people to join you.

People beg to join you because you are strong.

Bush wasted almost a year (once he decided to leave the main enemy alone) screwing around with the UN and with our “allies”, while failing to arrange passage through Turkey for the Fourth Armored division.

Bush’s “coalition” was a fraud from the beginning - the “40 nations” were of no military help (except of course the UK) while the whole political side of the enterprise reeked of weakness.

The day after those towers fell the United States had every right to form an expeditionary force to conquer Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, to root out Wahabism/Deobandism once and for all. If the American flag flew over Islamabad and Riyadh by the Fall of 2004, there would be no “Obama” and there would be no ISIS.

Oderint dum metuant. Let them hate, as long as they fear.

It worked in 1941, for the SS and for Japan, every bit as much as it worked in 1941 BC. It’s working right now for ISIS.

And the reason the Red Army beat Germany, and we beat Japan, is because we brought them catastrophic damage and filled them with fear.

It makes me laugh when people talk about ISIS’s methods as “the worst in history”, or some such nonsense. They don’t hold a candle to the Japs at Nanking, Hong Kong, or Singapore, and they certainly don’t stack up against the Einsatzgruppen filling every ditch in the Ukraine with slaughtered women and babies.

And when what went around, came around? How many German farmers were slaughtered in 1944-45? How many women were raped and mutilated? How many children died as the Red Army rolled West?

And although our technology spared most of our ground forces from inflicting similar atrocities on Japanese civilians, we sure made up for it with two buckets of sunshine from 40 000 feet.

THE BAD GUYS ARE WINNING THIS WAR. They’re winning because they unleash hell as they roll forward. That’s what war IS.

We’re losing because we don’t. We don’t, even with a “coalition of 40 nations”.
