So, you think that it’s OK for Texas to walk away from the Union?

What’s to add constructive to crazy? Texas did that twice. They are batting .500. You think it’s smart to try it again? I think it’s a ridiculous idea.

Twice? Texas ‘walked away from the Union’ only once, in 1861. It was an independent Republic from 1836 to 1846 and had never before been part of the Union.

Unless by ‘twice’ you mean when Texas seceded from Mexico. It always fascinates me how people can celebrate Texas seceding from Mexico, the 13 American colonies seceding from the United Kingdom, and then at the same time act as if secession is unthinkable. Go figure.
