D.C. public schools can get way with this type of activity because the inner city public schools have been experimental centers for the refinement of socialist thought and action. And the children are just the test subjects used in their experiments.

Bill Ayers, the reigning socialist educational authority, will tell you that comparing Bush to Hitler lines up perfectly with their techniques.

Easiest assignment ever....”there is no parallel comparison between GW Bush and Adolph Hitler. These men are on opposite ends of the political spectrum with GWB a constitutional republic supporter and AH as committed national socialist tyrant........

Hitler was elected to a lower level office in a parliamentary system and deals were made that brought him to a full dictator status.

This. He was, in effect, offered power just when his popular support was waning.

Pretty easy to draw stark comparisons between the two...

But somehow I don’t think that was the intent.

When Hitler was in office, a German named Hitler started a war. When Bush was in office, a German codenamed Curve-Ball started a war.

In the interest of fairness I demand that they forse the children to compare the current president to Hitler and Jay Carney to Goebbels.

They could ask Soros some questions since he actually WAS (is?) a NAZI.

Georgie could come to the school with puppets, German propaganda coloring books, dyed rabbits for the kids (save a few for Joe Biden) and piano wire.

It would be quite a Show and Tell

Bush and Hitler were both democratically elected.

Hitler was appointed not elected.

"Hitler was appointed not elected."

My bad. Well that's all I got. That was the only similarity I could think of.

The most important similarities are ... they are both white males.

Case closed, Bush is Hitler!
