I watched his speech, since it was announced as being short. His speech writers strive for rhythm and cadence, but Obama’s delivery was flat; no conviction, because he couldn’t use his campaign mode. The last five minutes cheerleading the American economy was flippant and bizarre. I can’t believe some of these commentators ( Newt, Jonah Goldberg) said it was a fine speech.

He kept saying America in lieu of The United States. It was annoying.

The speech was nuts.

As far as Syria: Who's the enemy?? Why is Assad silent?

And I'm pissed because he said HE was responsible for getting rid of Syria's WMD.
