I just wish people would lay off on the wife. She was the one who got beat up. No one knows what goes on in the mind of a domestic violence victim.

I also know that in my state, domestic violence victims would not report the crime, as they would be afraid of losing the main breadwinner of the house. The woman as a result gets doubly punished. Now, the state allows the perpetrator to still work, and support the family while spending the rest of the time in jail.
Maybe the NFL can still allow him to work and support his family, and spend his nights and free time in jail. Isn't he a running back, and the average career length is 3 years? Not much time to make money, and therefore she deserves a lot of that money for the beatings she has suffered.

No

No one should talk about this woman being at fault. It is not healthy

No gentleman should ever hit a woman. That’s it. If we’re talking about jack Bauer smacking a CIA operative because she’s threatening a mission, it’s jus different. She’s an operative first.

That’s not what this is

And the guy is either out of the NFL or the NFL harbors and promotes bad characters. That’s it. One or the other. Up to them. But this, ‘oh we didn’t know’ crap is not ok. They condone this guys behavior and then lie about it wanting their fans to pretend with them

Bad news all of them

The woman can just get financially punished as well, as the thing turns put

Her fault is getting involved with a thug, and defending him

She needs to take the financial consequences and get away from this thug If she doesn’t that’s her problem. It’s still a free country
