I have heard of a Hogan from MD before, but who is this one? Wasn’t there an ex-congressman, but that was some time ago? I haven’t followed any MD politics in years.

From his website:

http://www.hoganforgovernor.com

Larry Hogan is not a career politician. He is a small businessman, a concerned citizen, and a lifelong Marylander who loves this state.

Hogan is the Founder, President, and CEO of The Hogan Companies, a leader in economic development for over 25 years, and has brought hundreds of businesses and thousands of jobs to Maryland. He clearly understands how government policy can have an impact on business growth and job creation.

I’ll vote for him, but I am not getting my hopes up. The Rats have a stranglehold on my beautiful state of Maryland. Hogan’s running mate is black, but the Rat gubernatorial candidate is black-ish—even whiter than Obamugabe— and identity politics rules in the Rat party.

BTW, Lollar, my choice and a wonderful black conservative man, ran against Hogan in the primary. He did quite well, but Hogan did a little better. I have nothing against Hogan, but I think that the urban black vote would have crossed over for Lollar.

Hogan was a much better debater than Lollar, but that will not matter in the general.
