I just don't understand the stupidity of women who stay with men who beat them. Once, in a heated argument with my then boyfriend, he raised his hand to strike me. I told him to get out and I wouldn't see him again. He sent flowers, even tried to schmooze my mother. No way. M would I go back to him.

Another Freeper compared her to Nicole Brown Simpson. Women of “high-end” men stick with them for the money and prestige, no matter how many beatings they get. Maybe these women hope their men will change. Trust me — they don't. Mrs. Simpson found that out the hard way.

From what I have been hearing, women stay with men like that, no matter their economic standing. I don’t get it.
