He does for more than 30 days. But then again, since when did the law matter to this lawless regime?

Answer: never.

He’s trying to walk a fence. His ego says he doesn’t need their approval. But he wants to be able to blame them when the far left calls him on it, or something goes wrong

He’s blustering and trying to vote present.

Good, let him and the Democrats own it. There isn’t one person in his administration, or war cabinet for that matter, that has a clue what they are doing. It will be another Obama cluster.

"It may be a semantic point to many, but when most reporters and pundits discuss the "War Powers Act," they are actually referring to the War Powers Resolution of 1973 and not the War Powers Act of 1941. The latter was passed during World War II, giving the president almost plenary power to reorganize government resources to strengthen the war effort.

The War Powers Resolution of 1973, colloquially referred to as the "War Powers Act," was passed to limit the power of the president to deploy military forces without the consent of Congress. Specifically, the War Powers Resolution requires the president to notify Congress and to justify, within 48 hours, the sending of U.S. military forces:

Into hostile circumstances where imminent involvement in those hostilities is indicated;
Into a foreign nation equipped for combat (WTF?), or;
In "numbers which substantially enlarge" U.S. military forces presently in the foreign region (so we should be their police?).

If forces are launched without Congressional approval, the War Powers Resolution gives a 90-day window for the president to direct troops: 60 days to continue to arm military forces, and 30 days to withdraw those forces."

And that is that. It could work out for America's security interests at times or could just enlarge a conflagration we should have NO business in, such as Libya's and other civil wars.

What a great idea it was to kill Kaddafi and Saddam. Awful dictators, but what has happen since? Chaos with thousands of our best dying and maimed for what? Saddam had already sent his WMD to Syria according to satellite convoy photos and Kaddafi was docile since Reagan bombed his house.

Either way, if the CIC directs our Armed Services to fight, he should always give them free reign to kill, destroy, and decimate. No holds barred. Will say once again, just tactical nuke one of those Muslime strongholds and they'll get the message to leave us in peace. Even the so-called moderate Muslims in the USA and other western nations will just STFU!

Last thought: All of some 5 CAIR types held a press conference to condemn the recent be-headings. Five, I repeat FIVE! out of some billion Muslims.

King Barry isn’t bothered by that outdated, racist Constitution thingy.

Who is going to call him out on it, anyway?? Any opposition will IMMEDIATELY be deemed racist.
