President Obama told congressional leaders at a White House meeting on Monday he wouldn’t need their authorization to expand his military campaign against Islamic terrorists. The president offered the assurance at a private White House meeting one day before a primetime address he’s scheduled to give to the nation. Wednesday’s address is a pivotal moment for the president just months before a midterm election in which the Senate’s majority hangs in the balance. Polls show that confidence in Obama’s foreign policy is eroding just as anxiety over the threat posed by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has peaked. Seven in 10

The president offered the assurance at a private White House meeting

"Gentlemen, gentlemen -- let me assure you: I have full confidence that you are completely unnecessary. I can rule over this country, and do anything I want, and you are powerless to stop me. I know this for a fact, so you can rest easy and not worry yourselves a bit."

I think you guys may be jumping to conclusions. It may not require congressional approval. His “campaign” may involve dropping leaflets!

Nobel Peace Prize winner doesn't need anyone's permission to kill people.

Cool! Alfred Nobel would be proud!

EXEMPT Congress agrees with Obama that
the USA is now allied with Iran, N.Korea, Qatar

As far as I am concerned, Obama and his worshipers can go to hell. In my opinion, he is not a legitimate leader and if it was not for a corrupt Republican Party and a thoroughly corrupt media, he would not now be occupying the White House.

Not to worry, Obama will appoint Saudi officers to command the US troops, that’ll avoid the appearance of impropriety.

White House Wants Repeal of Iraq War Authorization

The Obama administration is calling on Congress to fully repeal the war authorization in Iraq to ensure that no U.S. troops return to the country, which is under siege by the extremist Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS).

White House national security adviser Susan Rice petitioned Speaker of the House John Boehner (R., Ohio) in a letter Friday to completely repeal the war authorization, officially known as the Authorization for Use of Military Force in Iraq, or AUMF.

Here we go again, after not insisting on a State of Forces agreement and then pulling out. If he doesn't carpet bomb ISIS on parade and a single troop is killed, I will be back out on the streets, illness or no. I'm sick of targeted strikes ... kill them all and their civilians rather than ours.

They're coming...make no mistake. It may not be this Thursday on 9/11, but since they are so organized and well funded by the banks they've raided in Syria and Iraq, they will hit western civilization hard.

BTW, did I read correctly there is one Malaysian jetliner missing and some 10 Libyan jetliners, also?

Wonder if they're stupid enough to make the same mistake al-Queda did that has pretty much been decimated. I actually think they've learned from bin Laden's overt errors. I think they will be more clandestine and hit in places we least expect.

Then will America finally get fed up with Muslims? I think so, but that would also have to be covert. Not that I am suggesting violence.
