Republican Frank Wolf just this week introduced a bill that would in essence, give the Executive "dictatorial power to wage war" by surrendering the Constitutional duty of Congress to declare war; repealing the 1972 War Powers Act. This will effectively take Congress out of the equation of declaring war as long as the Executive Branch says it’s against terrorism.
THAT the kind of 'consolidation of power' being handed to the Obama regime by the GOP itself. Kinda like wanting to hand Obama a "Blank check" so the government never shuts down again. Those kinds of 'consolidations of power' you conveniently ignore.
Obama and his party could not have achieved what they have without aid and comfort from the Republican leadership and party.
