So instead of buying steak and lobster with it they can buy pot.

Sounds like you're confusing SNAP (food stamps) with TANF (welfare cash).

See these little green buds? That's what President Obama likes the best.

[ Ever notice how you are always hearing about social security going broke, but you never hear about welfare running out of money? ]

That is becasue welfare is funded through the US. Dept of Agriculture.... I think....

But yeah, you have a great point,...

National debt is $17.7T, and Obama is spending more money to help the welfare class stay stoned? He must hate our children even more than I imagined to saddle them with the debt for someone else to enjoy a drug habit.

I can walk for a couple of minutes and buy enough espresso to make my eyelids disappear.

"Sessions said he would introduce legislation to close the loophole. House Republicans have already authored legislation to prohibit welfare benefits from being used to buy pot."

We are truly in the last days. Our government is paying people to buy dope.

Let’s face it, this is the long term plan: Keep ‘em stoned, docile and democratic.

Obamacare will do pretty much the same thing. No surgery or expensive drugs, just the cheap stuff. The system is already in place at primarily medicaid nursing homes. There the feds reimburse very little actual treatment. Even when getting paid by the feds the doctor often does not show up, just sends the bill. The staff are the cheapest help that the operators can find and they pump up everyone they can with oxy. It’s basically a place to go die with drug-induced happiness.

When I walked away from that world 28 years ago, high potency California grown sensemilla Thai buds were going for $3000 a pound, or about $6.50 per gram. Even with inflation, that seems pricey.

when you live in a country where you can use money taken from others by force, and given to you in the form of welfare to buy illegal or semi legal drugs, you live in a country run by idiots.

Wouldn't the state governments make the prices a little more affordable if that were the case?
