Wow. I dont know what the rules are hear but im about to test thrm. Dads making lunch for junior. Gummy Bears will be dessert. Still thinking on main course.
donuts, brownies, potato chips, full flavor pop, candy bars, and most other foods teenagers prefer. Even salt shakers and packets are now illegal.

yes, that was when food stamps were a real help for people in need, not just another ‘givmethat” that we have today.

Love your post - made me hungry, really hungry for a school lunch. Yes, the boys (I’m assuming you’re a boy!) ate like absolute animals and were thin as whippets. I was forced to take a brown bag lunch with a tiny sandwich. Always famished but no money for a school lunch!
I’m now wondering if we had a small store in high school that opened to sell candy. I can’t remember. I wasn’t allowed to eat it so had no money to buy it
