A group of 11 sick, disabled and elderly Iraqi Christians — including an 80-year-old woman with breast cancer — defied terrorists who ordered them to convert to Islam or be beheaded, saying they preferred death to giving up their faith.
The united resistance prompted the Islamic State extremists (formerly ISIS) to drop their demands and order the Christians to immediately leave their village of Karamless after first robbing them of their possessions, according to one of the survivors.
Sahar Mansour, a refugee from Mosul, told Catholic News Service in an email that the group turned up at Ankawa refugee camp, where she is living, after they were released by the Islamist fighters. They had remained behind in Karamless because they were too weak to flee when the town was overrun by Islamic State militants the night of August 6 to 7.
Mansour said she met the 80-year-old woman with cancer, who gave her name as Ghazala, in Ankawa on August 18 and heard her account of their escape.
“When the people of Karamless fled from the village they (the elderly) were alone,” Mansour said. “She (Ghazala) told me when they woke up in (the) morning they were surprised when they saw nobody in the village.”
“Ghazala told me that all the people told the terrorists that ‘we prefer to be killed rather than convert,”‘ Mansour said. She said Ghazala added that members of the group scolded the terrorists for ignoring Islamic sacred texts that forbade forced conversions of non-Muslims.

Most of these ISIS guys are nothing more than THUGS, think our gang members-yet with a radical indoctrination.
The rest are hardened para-military who are “true believers” and should be executed when caught.
I pray for these people every day. They have more courage then Obama and his henchmen in the IRA and Justice departments.

I hope I’m wrong on this but I see it coming. First let me be clear — we have no business over there doing anything. Reporters assume the risk of capture being over there. Im sorry they were killed but my dog was not in that fight.
What I’m afraid we will see in obama’s war is the capture of THOUSANDS of Christian and other minorities and their daily scheduled slaughter in reprisal for our meddling. Close the borders here and relocate all Sunnis to controlled areas. These guys can only attack us if we dont protect ourselve INTERNALLY.

It obviously didn’t matter whether “Christians” were offended by the Muslim
only prayer day event - We obviously Don’t count as “anyone” anymore, as
demonstrated by continuing efforts to discredit almost anything ‘Christian.’
The direction this country is taking should strike fear in the heart of
every Christian, especially knowing that many Muslims believe non-Muslims
unwilling to convert to Islam, should be annihilated - as in Nigeria , Sudan
and other countries, as I write.

At this point, I am beginning to doubt the “true believer” status of these clowns.
It is simply a place to be an animal. They go there to rape, torture, kill, and steal to their hearts content without any consequences. No police, no authority saying “you can’t do that”. The only limit to their debauchery, and cruelty is the emptiness of their souls. There are no other controlling authorities besides the mullahs of the very same cult of death, that they proclaim fealty to.
