Not many people can ‘prep’ for that, even among ‘preppers’.
One would need to be able to self quarantine for...maybe three to four months. That means COMPLETE isolation. It would require a great deal of effort to make that happen, and that’s probably an understatement!

Thanks Ray76 and Kristinn .... NEGATIVE ... TEST CAME BACK NEGATIVE. To be continued but NEGATIVE ... TEST CAME BACK NEGATIVE ... EBOLA TEST <-— NEGATIVE ... Sorry for the caps lock, Everyone.
If you walk into a hospital sweating (its Miami), puking, with explosive diarrhea, and coughing you can certainly expose thousands.
The population density at this particular hospital is very high and many of them are quite poor.
They have a quick test which is apparently prone to false negatives.
Ebola is the next bug. Its significantly worse than Marburg or Hanta.
It goes to eleven !!!
If you are a Space Mountain aficionado, would work too for long lines at disney.
Oh, I’m just so so so so surprised. What a big shock. Who’d a thunk it. Couldn’t see that coming, no sir.
Total isolation from society? Perhaps in a cabin on a rugged mountainside in the middle of the Rockies? Shoot, don't threaten me with a good time.

“In a statement, the WHO said that motorbike-taxis and regular taxis are “a hot source of potential virus transmission” in Liberia where conventional Ebola control interventions “are not having an adequate impact”.”
How many NYC taxi drivers disinfect between fares?
In the meantime, dozens of Americans will die in traffic accidents today.
See my 39 with source link...says patient being re-tested after first test came back negative. Note that this strain of Ebola has a very high percentage of false negative test results.
Are you saying the second test came back negative as well in less than an hour?
I could do 4 months easy, as far as being prepped.
I understand ... Read It ... Being rechecked ... Nothing know but NEGATIVE .. So wait, please. Let’s not go STUPID
It’s not going stupid. There have been plenty of false negatives with this disease. Some with tragic consequences. William Pooley, the Brit who was infected, cared for a small boy who had tested negative. The boy subsequently tested positive and several of his caregivers did as well.
Do you have a link?
There were many posts on this topic on the surveillance thread.
William Pooley was only one of many who have been duped with early false negative tests. Brantly tested negative before subsequently testing positive.
