Obama and General Greene who was killed in Afghanistan
Two star Major General Harold Greene was killed in Afghanistan on August 8, 2014 while serving his country with pride for 34 years. As of 1972, he was the highest ranking officer in the military killed in action since the Vietnam war.
President Obama has not mentioned anything in regards to this highly decorated soldier yet he spoke highly of Robin Williams who committed suicide.
He was buried August 14 in the Arlington National Cemetery . Neither the President, Vice President, Secretary of State nor Secretary of Defense attended the funeral. President Obama was on vacation, playing golf at Marthas Vineyard . No flags were ordered to half mast yet they were for Whitney Houston who also committed suicide.
Yet he sends 3 officials to the funeral of a thief in Ferguson , MO.
I find this very offensive and disrespectful to the veterans who have served our great country. But then again, why does this not surprise me.
As much as it pains me to give a negative comment on the great office, I would expect no less from the tool that’s holding it now.
Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel did, in fact, attend the Greene funeral. Fact check.
Obama is not simply disrespectful. He is an obscenity cursed upon this nation by malcontents and fools who are themselves obscene.
I’ll go out on a limb and guess that it wasn’t an oversight.
The General was the wrong color.
Welcome to Obama-nation. The real heros are TV and movie stars and thugs who beat store owners. The Villians are those who defend the country and enforce its laws.
Yes you set the record straight. Hagel did attend.
He had served in the Army and as SecDef he should attend.]
IMO that does not excuse BO from his disgusting and disrespect behavior. When he shows more respect for a thief and or a pop singer who willingly took her life than he does for someone who defended our country so those people like the thief Houston or Williams that tells us all we need to know about that vile POS who is demeaning the office.
Enemy islamist crap.
Woe into them who call good evil and evil good.
...and don’t forget, the General was murdered by an uniformed afghani “friend”.
The general was “white,” wasn’t he? Doesn’t that answer the question?
You are right! Thanks.
Bad “optics.”
I don’t even recall hearing of any statement released by the White House on the killing of the General.

Unless a man is a pig farmer, it is unlikely that he or his family would object to the absence of pigs at his funeral.
For what is the purpose? Pigs do not honor the dead, most likely they are indifferent to them, or think it means more for them. They do not care if the deceased was noble, heroic, and of great character. They are not religious creatures, no hold any great faith or dreams beyond their own lusts and existence.
In turn, their only funeral is pork chops, ham, bacon and sausage. But that is their destiny, because they are pigs.
Pigs are amoral creatures that only care for themselves. Thus no one should be angered, or even surprised at their absence, unless “there is something in it for them.”
In recent years, when one of their number die, Democrats are known for using their funerals as political rallies, mentioning the deceased only in terms of the support he gave their party, and how committed he was to their agenda.
They are collectivists, and collectivists are pigs.
My college journalism prof was a WW1 mustard gas victim. He always said “my president right or wrong”. Fortunately for him he never had to experience the current white hut occupant which would be an absolute exception. God bless you doc Orr.
How many funerals of military officers have the President, the Vice President, the Secretary of State, or the Secretary of Defence attended over the past four administrations?
