Daniel Halper at the Weekly Standard points out that contrary to media reports Obama was not contrite in his Meet the Press remarks about going golfing immediately after making a statement while on vacation last month about the videotaped beheading of American journalist James Foley by the Islamist terrorist group ISIS. Obama seemed to blame press coverage—saying he’s looking forward to a vacation from the press–rather than his conduct for the optics of being seen laughing it up on the golf course mere minutes after making a somber statement on what many consider to be an act of war on America.

Gonna check my notes from 2007 when he appeared on the national scene. We could basically rerun those threads and spend time playing cards or petting the cat or something equally profitable. All of our objections to Obma haven’t made one single thing better. He just keeps getting worse than anyone could ever imagine. The one thing we can count on.
I now officially detest the word “optics” used this way. It’s not optics you LOSER!! It’s a picture!!
So, Obama still doesn't see anything wrong with going from the podium right back to the golf course. He doesn't think he was insensitive. He doesn't think he used incredibly poor judgment. The problem, according to Obama, is with everyone else, and the way they perceived his actions.
Now now, he’s gonna get either 24 hour secret service for life or prison guards for life, I would prefer paying prison guards, either way WE pay.. So who’s the real losers *-?
