The was I see it from across the pond in America it’s a win-win:

If Salmond wins and gains independence for Scotland then it will dilute the labour vote in the rest of the UK (and therefore make it more ‘conservative’), it will also FORCE the socialists in Scotland to grow up when they can’t rely upon the welfare from London. Third (though it might screw Mr. Cameron as the P.M. that let the break up of the UK happen, WHY is that such a bad thing with UKIP surging)??

If Salmond loses, and Scotland decides against independence, then it will continue to strengthen the UK, as well as Mr. Salmond and his pro-independence socialists will be discredited, and maybe Scotland will grow up and an actual opposition will be able to form to left-wing policies.

I think there’s no winning from this side of the pond.
The American voter has voted to suckle from the teat
of the socialist pig and doesn’t even know the UK
from England nor could locate Britain on a map.
