“Sell cars that people actually want to buy.”

A novel concept in the Left’s Watermelon World (green on the outide, Marxist on the inside).

Being essentially political fascists, they’d much prefer you buy the car assigned to you by the party commissar-in-charge.

Electric vehicles make great golf carts and segways. Without any tax incentives. Daily drivers - not so much.

“As it turns out, a $32,650 electric version of a $17,000 “

Cimarron, by Cadillac!

Where are those guys who usually post stuff about the wonders of their coal-burning buggies? I’d like to see their response to this CEO!

Paraphrasing: “This car is way under-priced. I can’t afford to sell it to you — you can’t have one.”

That’s got to be one of the best sales pitches ever!

The gasoline version of the same car sells with a starting price (including delivery charges) of roughly $17,000… The electric 500e has a starting price point of roughly $32,650… And that’s without -snip- extra cup holders.

Only insane people (liberals) think double the price for less is a good thing.

Have yet to see a single Government Motors ObamaVolt in this part of the country. Tons of Nissan Leafs, but no ObamaVolts.

But, this isn’t a sane world. After all, we live in a world run by liberals Fascists.

Which, really, is the only explanation for Chrysler’s continued production of the 500e. Due to government regulations, CAFE standards, and “environmental consciousness”, the company must produce a certain number of electric (or highly fuel efficient) vehicles.

Fascism - government directed production by privately owned corporations (see Corporatism).

I was softening my stance on Chrysler until "Chrysler Auto Workers fired after Wolchek investigation are back on the job". There is no way I'm buying a car built by them.
