Also, as this week is the 13th anniversary of 9/11/01, we are missing any key players from that day: Giuliani, Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, etc.

How soon we forget...

10 September 2001 all over again...

Course, if something happens, they’ll never blame it on Obama like they did Bush.

Any new news on the census taker? Did he ever come back?

Nope, nothing...still waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Thanks for the power-bump.

Perhaps that is why Biden said he would meet them at the gates of Hell?

I think Biden simply expressed outrage related to the Islamists not understanding that the reporters were on their side. Even bin Laden would have understood that much, right?

I’m 500 feet above the Bitterroot River. Had so much snow last year we had to hire a road grader to plow us out ... ATV’s and tractors just couldn’t cut it.

I’m expecting the same this winter. Gonna push the snow WAY off to the sides in hopes of keeping a path wide enough come March.

I booked an airplane trip (from Boston, no less) on 9/11.

The flight is in the afternoon, and it's a smaller regional aircraft, so at least I reduced the chances somewhat.

I’ll give The One credit for only one thing. He doesn’t hide what he wants to do. The sad thing is we don’t have the cohunes to do anything about it. Our political parties have become one in the same. Our side says keep voting for me and things will change. We have been on a downhill trajectory since Reagan left office. Sorry FReepers. Just not feeling overly optimistic this morning. Bar those of us here I just don’t see anyone that really cares. We have become a nation of folks who think, “as long as I got mine I don’t care”.

This is inevitable when you have a media of lap dogs instead of watch dogs.

It is incredible to contemplate what great delusions some people steadfastly maintain in their own cloistered worldviews. It is as if reality never intrudes.

Our LEGAL IMMIGRATION policies are the real problem. We can’t continue to import over 1 million permanent LEGAL IMMIGRANTS a year, as we have for the past 25 years, without electoral and economic consequences. LEGAL IMMIGRATION will make the Dems the permanent majority party. Amnesty just hastens the process by a decade or so.

“Who ever heard of a BLUE football field???!!!”

Apparently you’ve never been through Lexington, KY during the early morning when the dew on the ground. Wasn’t it last year that the grass was red?

You're livin' large, Bernard, livin' large!

But smashing airplanes full of people into tall buildings is so yesterday, I believe. Think Mumbai. Think Beslan. Think OKC x 10. It wouldn't take a lot of well armed and trained killers to cause havoc. Getting them into the country and arming them is not a problem. With our porous southern border they could move a regiment in here inside a month and it not be noticed if they paid off the right people (the cartels).

Here is a book everybody should read, right away. It is as timely as it is frightening. You'll need a Kindle or a Kindle app to read it though. The dead tree edition is not yet released. The author rushed it in to "print" early as he thought it was so important to get out. I agree.

Ya, but that’s KENTUCKY! Idaho? All I can think of is potatoes... One year I planted blue potatoes, though. Maybe they grow a lot of blue potatoes up that-a-way.

Fish, here’s our local politics. As you know we have an election going to stop Light Rail in my town and it is going very well. The opposition has given up and is running no campaign so we should win this election 60-40 or better in two weeks.

Our city council realizes that so they put a special vote tomorrow during their meeting so they can spend $160,000 on Light Rail planning before our measure takes effect. We are trying to pack the chambers and let them know what a sleazy move this is before the citizens have a chance to vote.

Worst part is, our council is almost all Republican.
