Actually, the English will retain the Scottish monarchy as Head of State if there is a yes vote. It IS that way round.
That is why the SNP will hold a referendum after the Queen dies or resigns if they should still have the current Monarchs in case Yes wins.
And the current family will still reign in Buckingham Palace.
The Technicalities of lineage is lost on the Scots as they don’t see the House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha as their rightful Monarchs.
