Russian President Vladimir Putin has appeared emotional in recent footage showing him witnessing a performance of his country's national anthem while on a visit in Mongolia.
In the footage broadcast on Mongolian TV, the normally stoic Putin is seen standing next to Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, looking down and at one point moving his hand to wipe his eye.
“Putin is [so] manly, he's required to shed a tear every so often to maintain hormonal equilibrium,” said a user of the army enthusaist site militaryphotos.net.
Last year, Russia's longstanding president was seen wiping away a tear during a Kremlin concert dedicated to police officers who died in the line of duty.
Well, he damned sure isn’t crying for all the dead Russians and Ukrainian soldiers in the Donbas...
It beats a president that hates his country nodding his head while his wife says “All this for a damn flag”.

I often have tears come to my eyes when I hear the Anthem. You either have a love of your native country or you don’t.
Now take Obama he has had tears in his eyes many times while standing for the National Anthem, but of course his were tears were over the time he was losing from his golf game.
Obama cries during the US national anthem, but its because he hates this country so much and doesn’t think it deserves an anthem or a flag.
I went to an orchestral event several years ago, and their rendition of the Star Spangled Banner was moving enough to get me welled-up thinking of the sweep of American history.
And there’s a hell of a lot more to be proud of in that than whatever a partisan can draw from the current Russian flag.

I have heard the Russian State Chorus sing their national anthem. It is a very impressive and emotional experience.

The man thinks he is Russia, from KGB officer to ruler for life, he is conquering nations and building a new Russian empire in his name, as the all powerful ruler of this new aggressive Russia, he probably has very intense and complex emotions at hearing the patriotic tune played under his personal banner.
