Human Cost: The point above, made to President Obama by a grieving father whose 25-year-old son was run over by an illegal alien who won't be deported, underscores the high price of open borders for U.S. citizens.
That grieving father, Donald Rosenberg, has put another human face on the growing problem of importing crime through the Obama administration's tolerance of illegal immigration.
His plea also highlights the White House's refusal to deport those who shouldn't be here after they do grievous harm to Americans, sometimes even killing them. In a letter sent to Obama last month, Rosenberg, a self-described "lifelong, very liberal Democrat," said his son Drew, run over and killed by an illegal alien in 2010, would still be alive if Washington consistently deported illegals who have conflicts with law enforcement.
Open-border advocates would argue that his son could have just as easily been killed by a U.S. citizen. True enough, except that he wasn't, and the fact is the odds of American citizens being victims of any crime would be reduced if our borders were secure and alien criminals were being deported.
Rosenberg's son was killed when Robert Galo, an illegal alien who had been here since 1998, made a left turn and crashed into Drew, who was riding his motorcycle home from law school.
It was a slow-speed crash and nothing serious might have happened had not Galo, who was driving without a license, "drove over (Drew's) body a third time," Rosenberg said in his letter, "in an attempt to flee."
Five months before the fatal crash, police stopped Galo for driving the wrong way on a one-way street in San Francisco and, again, driving without a license and having no insurance.

I saw the father, Mr. Rosenberg, on Fox News earlier today talking about this. He has been speaking out to anyone who will listen and stated politicians and the majority of the media are simply ignoring him.
They’ll even ignore black victims like Jamiel Shaw who was killed execution style by illegals.

My sincere sympathy to the family of the young man. He will not get it from Obama, who considers him fodder for the greater cause of fundamentally changing the country.
I think blacks are on the verge of outliving their utmost usefulness as a weapon against whites and western civilization (but haven’t quite, yet). the left is preparing for that contingency. There must always be a “victim of”, i.e. weapon against, whites.

I understand. I am saying that the left is gearing up to support their latest useful victim group, as blacks’ usefulness is expiring. The left is having to rely on ever more-screwy examples of “raycism”, even inventing their own, of white racism against blacks. They know that that for enough whites (not very many at all, but enough), the white guilt is fading fast. Also, Hispanics are a growing demographic, blacks a shrinking one.
So, when it’s an “illegal on black” crime, they ignore it, just as they black on white crime. Neither serves the agenda.
But when they can find even the most absurd example of white “raycism”, they heath the drums loud and long. They invent them.
See the one thing in common? The “victim” group is not the important thing, that can and does change according to their need. The one thing which never changes is the target of their chosen weapon-whites, particularly heterosexual white males, the primary creators of western civilization.

You’re right, the father did help the cause that contributed to his sons death.
I don’t believe he should be ignored however, people can change and he admitted his very liberal life.
He’s now speaking out to help save others, in my view.
