Hate to say it...but would really freak out if it were ISISISIL or what ever that forced the plane down. Iran...eh.

ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham) started in Iraq.
When they went into Syria, they needed a more inclusive of Syria name, hence ISIL, Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
Now they have declared themselves the leaders of all muslims of the world and call them simply IS, Islamic State.
