The glitch ocured around 2000 when huge number of people suddenly started using web in a constructive way to share knowledge, especially deep web. Then they put sheeple under control again. Today the bulk of information flowing through the internet servers is garbage of no substance.
We are told upfront what awaits us in 30-40 years from now. The lag allows the time for new generation to be born and absorb slow Fabian change as normal condition.
Well, some of us would place the day of that glitch as occurring the morning of September 18, 1787 when the first work around passed through the mind of someone having nefarious intent, following a close examination of the document signed on the day prior. Others would argue the multiple methods to overcome the obstacles were placed in the document beforehand. Either way, that they defeated those obstacles is evident and not surprising.
