Good call. FDR is the one who saved Patton’s bacon after that silly, overblown slapping a soldier incident. He was the best kind of fighting General we needed at the time and would be drummed out of the service in today’s PC military. Can you imagine how terrified our enemies would be if we could unleash another Patton on today’s battlefield. (I know, I am dreaming again.).

Arguable. However nobody would accuse Churchill of loving Stalin and they were able to work together against Hitler.
