Machete, check. Islam, check. Beheading, check. No Jihad to see here.
An 82-year-old woman was beheaded in a north London suburban garden by a man with a machete.
Palmira Silva, a widow and grandmother described as “such a sweet lady” by one neighbour, was killed outside her home in Edmonton in a random but frenzied assault by a 25-year-old.
Witnesses said they saw the man, wielding a foot-long blade, attack a passing vehicle and a cat before roaming back gardens looking for a victim.
One line of inquiry for detectives is understood to be that the man was inspired by recent footage of terrorists beheading two American journalists in Syria.
Some residents claimed last night that the suspect was a local man who had converted to Islam last year, but those claims could not be verified. Detectives said they had ruled out terrorism.

Scotland Yard said officers they were unaware of the motivation behind the horrific slaying which comes three days after the publication of an ISIS video that showed a British man beheading an American journalist. An off duty British soldier was killed and suffered an attempted beheading during an attack by Islamists on a London street last year.
“Whilst it is too early to speculate on what the motive behind this attack was, I am confident, based on the information currently available to me, that it is not terrorist related,” said detective chief inspector John Sandlin, who is leading the investigation.

Secondly, last time I checked a group of Muslims with boxcutters beat US security, crashed three US planes, brought down two towers, and killed thousands all while the most powerful military in the world made sure the East Coast was defended by two F-16’s.

The UK has never been a large gun owning populace. Not right or wrong, just a fact.
Anyone who stopped him would have been more likely to with a baseball bat, sword, knife or an air weapon (rifle or pistol), tyre iron.....
