I am not saying that this is the case. That said, it did pop into my beady mind;)
My niece worked for a large property management firm one floor up from a sports medicine/physical therapy office in Timonium MD. One day she heard a lot of loud commotion. It turned out it was someone from the physical therapy office who came down in a panic, frantically asking one of the property managers to hold the elevator (or something along those lines) because they had just had a patient go into full cardiac arrest and they were waiting for the EMTs to arrive. It turned out the patient was NFL and Baltimore Colt legend, Johnny Unitas. My niece knew one of the physical therapists working with him that day and she and everyone were devastated. From what she told my niece, Johnny was walking on the treadmill as he did every week, but complained of feeling a bit tired and one of the therapists told him, just a few minutes more Johnny and the next second he was dead. They used a portable defibrillator on him and gave him CPR while waiting for the EMTs but to no avail, he was dead by the time he hit the floor. He was only 69 years old.
You just never know. When its your time, its your time.
And FWIW, for those inferring that Joan Rivers comments about Obama being gay and Michelle being a tranny have something to do with her death (FWIW, at 81 years old, during a surgical procedure), you have to understand that Rivers was an insult comic, a female version of Don Rickles, and no one was off limits from her sharp barbs, not even herself. If you ever watched her most recent show, The Fashion Police and yes, while doing my late night insomniac channel surfing, Ive watched enough of it to know that she made fun of just about every celebrity and every public person; left, right, straight, gay, white, black and often in a very non PC sorts of way but because of the way she did it, that she was an equal opportunity offender, no matter how insulting, she got away with it. And when she made the gay jokes, nobody laughed harder than her gay co-host on Fashion Police. And even some of those celebrities she insulted for their fashion choices and also made very other insulting comments about, would later show up as guests on her show. Most of them knew and understood it was her shtick and knew there is no such thing as bad publicity.
But OTOH, sometimes it was hard to tell whether she was joking or not. She called Sarah Palin stupid and referred to her as a Nazi, during what were supposedly serious interviews (but, again, as I said, it was hard to tell sometimes whether Joan was being herself or her insult comic persona, her shitck.) But she and her daughter claimed on several shows they were banned from Fox and Fox and Friends over her comments on Palin. But later they did the Wife Swap TV show with Bristol Palin (and Ug! I really hate that show from what little of it I could stomach of it) but Joan and Melissa had nothing but good things to say about Bristol and she about them. Go figure. When she made recent comment in defense of Israel, I dont think she was joking. But when she was making rude and insulting and often crude comments about just about anyone in the public spotlight, the Obamas included, I dont necessarily think that was meant to be taken seriously.
