The national parks are essentially tourist venues where, especially when Democrats control the executive branch, the management of these lands falls into the hands of elitist “greens” who oppose anything, even port-a-potties, that would make tourist life a little easier. These proposals are on reservation grounds, occupied by the descendants of people who lost almost all of this country, including national parks, national forests, BLM lands, etc. What the tribal authorities choose to do should not be a matter of National Park Service concern.

In any case, the national parks should be turned over to the states or, better yet, privatized. If the Ted Turners, the Robert Redfords, or the Bill Gateses of the world dislike the idea, let them buy the lands with their own money and run them as they wish.

You might want to read up a little on the history of the NP. Large portions of many national parks were contributed by greedy capitalists (mainly the Rockefellers) to the government for the enjoyment of ALL of the people.

National Parks are an idea that was hatched in the capitalist West and funded by capitalists.

Every time I visit a NP in the west I'm thankful that this land was aquired from Mexico and the most beautiful parts preserved for our enjoyment and the enjoyment of future citizens. If the Mexicans or Indians still controlled these areas they would look like Las Vegas.

They ARE doing this, just not with the rocks and ice with scenic views. The individuals you mentioned give some of the largest donations to The Nature Conservancy, the largest private land owner in the U.S. Different from the Park Service system, they don’t just buy up the spectacular land, but some of the best farm and ranch land as well as as much land along waterways as possible. They ARE legitimately privatizing massive amounts of land for THEIR libtard agenda.
