There are few claims in American politics more misguided than the claim that Barack Obama has caused a resurgence of racism and racial unrest in this country. But it's a claim that you hear too often, for example in remarks last month by U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks of Alabama, who complained that Obama had launched a "war on whites."**
As the AJC's Political Insider reports, the latest to make that kind of argument is Randy Evans, a member of the National Republican Committee and one of the best-connected, most powerful GOP operatives in Georgia. In an interview with an Australian TV show, Evans responded to a question about the Mike Brown tragedy in Missouri by blaming it all on Obama:
"Well, unfortunately I think that we’re at a scenario where we had a president who had, as the first African-American president, an opportunity to really advance race relations in the United States. You know, we’ve had a tortured history in that regard.
And as a result, to have an African-American president, you would have the opportunity for every young African-American to think to themselves, “One day I too can grow up to be president.” Well, that enormous opportunity kind of got squandered, because literally what happened once President Obama took office, African-Americans became nothing more than a political tool – a way to drive up votes among African-American communities and I would say that over the course of his six years we probably have taken more steps backward than we have forward.
So, obviously, Mike Brown is the second. We had Trayvon Martin, which is a similar story — it's similar unrest—and I think for the most part you’d have to say that what’s happened is the net effect, is the actual, open discussion of race has gone underground....

His poking his racist snout into things that don't even have a racial component, like the Gates case (beer summit) show that he TRULY enjoys stirring the pot.
It is absolutely true that he COULD end a lot of violence and shedding of blood with some simple words.

WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OF THE FERGUSON RIOTS ?
All this inflamatory reporting of confrontations between black youths and authority is ruthlessly designed to keeping the black segment of Obama’s political support riled up so that any thought of instituting a richly deserved impeachment proceeding goes nowhere.
No longer am I alone in making this assertion which I’ve done from the start namely the Zimmerman trial that went unanswered until this;
This regime and its supporters don’t give a damm if some poor black women or anyone else used all their resources to set up a business in those communities only to have it destroyed through blacks rioting resulting from what democrats created through their propaganda. Such blacks are viewed as eggs that must be broken to make their omlet.
That includes the whites,”hispanics” (note quotes) and asians. They are the other victims who have been maimed, assulted, and murdered by blacks citing those Florida manufactured episodes as their excuse for retribution.
This POTUS (president of the United States) signaled the clever direction to take through his use of “The Bully Pulpit”. And continues to rely on the constitutional office of The US Attorney General to conduct activities and investigations which promote division rather than supress it.
Two examples of this used in the Florida case were Holder’s support of the Black Panther’s protest activity and the reward for the demise of the alledged murderer George Zimmerman of the “child”, Treyvon Martin. Which got a wink and a nod
With Ferguson the AJ beside sending in 40 DoJ prosecuters which remain to be seen what they come up with. (The Washington Post sent in 4 reporters to work over officer Wilson).
Holder demanded witholding the devastating release of the video showing the “victim”was a 6 foot 4 inch 295 pound Michael Brown assulting a dimunitive asian store clerk, who was being portrayed as a just turned 18 year old black”kid” innocently walking home to grandma’s house shot in the back by a white police officer, Wilson, just because Brown was black.
That video was released according to press reports by the police chief of Ferguson responding to FOIA (freedom of information act) requests. But had that video been released earlier there was a decent chance there might have not been 4 days of rioting looting, and destruction of property.
The POTUS has yet to acknowledge and decry those other results, of killings and assults by blacks of whites, “hispanics”, and asians, in retribution for what a “white” hispanic did to a black kid.. Let alone be urged to do so by “news” members of the democrat propaganda army known as the media. They have yet to suffer as their victims the same or any conseqences. They like him are being held unaccountable . It’s time are. .
While the Florida thing was going on nobody noticed what came out of HHS and its resettlement/relocation policies as a means to handle the racial divide. If Obama had his druthers and could pull it off we’d be all living in urban centers taking a street car to work, store, and play living happily together in a utopian setting with our thermostats set at 67 degrees.
They and by they I’m mean that political party which is in name only called “democrat”. There is nothing “democratic” about them. While the riots were going on you had a democrat governor calling for a “vigorous prosecution” and his state police commander marching with radicals flashing signs. With the cops reportedly told, let them riot. As the local state democrat representative repeats the propaganda dished out by the regime.
Not recognizing why this “racial divide” is being perpetuated has nothing to do with such lofty counter arguments being demanded to be offered by the political opposition on “equality” or “justice”.
Those discussions are viewed with glee and laughed at by the democrats because it first of all lends credability to their lying assertions and diverts focus from the real reason why the those in power are using this political device known as division. It’s to keep them unquestioningly in power.
Unfortunately many black Americans thought their life would improve dramatically once there was a black president. Of course that did not happen for anyone. But these same blacks want answers as to why things did not improve. They do not want to blame the president so who’s fault is it? The same group that has always ‘ kept them down ‘.
In college I had a pal from Queens NY who used to say “ white people don’t have to keep us down, were doing a fine job keeping ourselves down “. That fellow is now a published author and lawyer. Smart fellow.
Can’t blame president Beeblebrox for anything - his job is only to keep our attention from those who are actually making the decisions.
Actually, it’s the Sons of Obama that are the real problem.

Close but no cigar. The politics of division have been nearly the exclusive reserve of the outrageously racist Democrat party for quite some time. That is how they manage to garner the percentage of the votes that the author admits to. No, it is, rather, the convincing of black America that the Republicans are racist and out to get them and that the Democrats are their only recourse that has poisoned the well. The author himself is a perfect example.
In short, their disappointment with the president is rooted in disappointment that their preferred narrative on race keeps getting discredited by events and facts.
On the contrary, the disappointment is with such people as Bookman who supplies a false narrative for his political enemies and then crows that it has been discredited.
Really, this is pathetic, and the author ought to be ashamed of it. If he does not notice the frequency with which any criticism of 0bama has been greeted with the cry of racism by his own party he is deaf, blind, and stupid. It is that that has stifled any "honest dialogue" on race, the fact that only one voice is permitted, one viewpoint allowed, and any dissent shouted down by the worst racists this country has seen since the Ku Klux Klan. What is common to them and to it is that they are Democrats.
Just in case anyone on FR is not aware the AJC is a pinko commie rag. My dog won’t even pee on it.
He may not be the cause, but there’s no question at all he’s set race relations in the US back fifty years.
There’s a pink, or black, elephant in the room and everyone ignores it.
This is a gratuitous assertion, which under the rules of logic can be just as gratuitiously dismissed.
From the launch of Obama's campaign for President, he has allowed, indeed encouraged, his supporters to accuse political opponents or simply critics of racism. He has never told his people to stop this incitement of race hatred. Never.
And that's just the start of Obama's race crimes, but who needs more evidence. No one should.
