ISIS is killing innocent people (who just want to live and be left alone) if they don’t “convert” to their hateful and murderous false religion.
On the other hand, trying to “convert”, or otherwise kill ISIS is for self defense. If they converted (which I don’t believe they would)to Christianity, they would be compelled to follow the ways of love and peace. If they opted not to convert and remain the barbarians they are, then they have to be killed for the protection of others.
And were it not for their explusion from Spain and the dangers of trade routes through Muslim territory Ferdinand and Isabella would not have backed an explorer named Christopher Columbus....and all that followed.
ISIS says if you don't convert to their religion then you should be killed. Robertson says if they don't convert to his religion then they should be killed. Nope. Not the same at all. </sarcasm>

Robertson says that ISIS should be killed because they are killing innocent people. The opportunity to convert is to give them the chance to live, though they deserve to die for being barbarians and terrorists.
Personally, I would offer then the opportunity to convert, and kill them even if they said they did. If they actually did receive forgiveness, then they’re fine in God’s hands. If they didn’t convert, then they die for their crimes, not for not converting.
