Posted as fact when in fact it is probably not true as Wilson was called off another scene because of the robbery and (according to sources) he was given a description after seeing the two but before the confrontations.
Regardless, Brown thought he had been identified as the robber and acted as if he was.

We know now from at least 12 credible witnesses that have come forth to the police that Brown attacked the officer and went for his gun. That’s was led to his killing. Justified police shootings occur, and unjustified police shootings occur. As do killings by people who are not police.
The authors apparently have no interest at all in the facts that might indicate which group this particular shooting falls into.
Reminds me most strongly of To Kill an Mockingbird. The trial is not to be a legal procedure to determine what really happened and whether the accused is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
It is a theatrical demonstration of the relationship between two groups of people.
